Mark Watkins is a former newspaper journalist and script-writer with writing credits for radio, television and corporate films to his name. Over the past 20 years he has specialised in communication for major international companies, leading global communication teams at SmithKline Beecham, GlaxoSmithKline, Nycomed and General Electric.
He is now a communication consultant based in Roskilde, Denmark. He established Corporate Understanding in 2008 and was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Communication in 2010.
Since its launch, Corporate Understanding has delivered communication projects for clients which include: Pandora jewellery, ALK-Abelló, Takeda Pharmaceutical, Nycomed, LEO Pharma, Lundbeck, Velux, NNE Pharmaplan, IPC Pharma, Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals, University College London Hospitals and National Australia Bank.
